There’s a new song in my heart, each day,
A brand new song that starts with dawn ~
When we step upon the way.
The melody unfolds, when the pages, now so old,
Are read with understanding ~ sometimes tears ~
And I can say ...
Jesus brings a new song to your heart,
A song of peace and love that ne’re departs.
I love the old, old, stories and they’re new every day,
With this everlasting new song in my heart!
